It's a nice day for flowers. Winters on its way and soon the hills will be green again and filled with windflowers.
I found a couple of hillsides covered with these little gems at Nicholas Flats last February. When you have the chance to see the hills change daily, it changes your feelings about the fragility of this place. We can't take anything for granted.
