6 Critically Injured in Northridge Crash

Some of the victims were trapped and others were ejected, according to reports.

Six people were critically injured in a three-vehicle collision in Northridge Wednesday, with a girl in "extremely critical" condition, authorities said.

One car overturned, one was hit head-on, and another ran into a wall. Some people had to be freed and others were ejected, according to KCAL9.

The crash occurred shortly after 8 p.m. in the 8300 block of Tampa Avenue, near Roscoe Boulevard, said the Los Angeles Fire Department's Brian Humphrey.

KCAL9 reported that the extremely critical patient might have been on the street or sidewalk when the collision occurred.
