Tasty Bike Ride Coming to Northridge

A cycling club is organizing a ride through Northridge to visit some of the community's tastiest eateries.

On Nov. 16, Cyclists Inciting Change thru LIVE Exchange is inviting to people to join in a 10-mile ride dubbed The Northridge Deli, Desserts and Deliciousness Ride. There will be stops at the Original Weiler’s Northridge Delicatessen, Gayle’s Perks, Delicious Bakery, and A Sweet Design.

"At each stop, owners will welcome participants and share their business’ history, connection to the community and discuss their ingredients for creating a delicious establishment," a statement read.

Some businesses will also be handing free samples.

Meetup is at 10 a.m. at Dearborn Park, Northridge, Los Angeles CA 91325 (Wish Ave and Dearborn St). Departure time is 11 a.m.

All participants under 18 MUST wear a helmet and be escorted by a parent or guardian. Children under age 8 should be on a tag-a-long, bike trailer, tandem, or other safe child-carrying device to participate in the ride.
