Los Angeles City Branch Libraries - Chatsworth
21052 Devonshire St, Chatsworth, CA 91311
The Chatsworth Library has a long history. First it hopped between the now-demolished Wilkins building, Lombardi…More building and Criser building. In the 1950s, the library's contents was driven around town in a Bookmobile. In 1963, the doors on Devonshire Street swung open only to shut years later. Finally, in 2004, an adjacent, newly-constructed Spanish-themed building welcomed the community to browse more than 42,000 books and other materials. Today, visitors can enjoy the children's area, stained glass windows and computer terminals.
