Whoa-- fellas- you do know the Patch fired almost ALL their editors and now have just a few coveringRead More gee- how many do you have to cover now, Penny? When at first it was 1 maybe 2? This is a case of shoot the messenger. Hey Penny, you are welcome to come over to the East Coast anytime, we give our editors more respect. Now- I must return...for I have a tendency to melt in this part of the country. Just for fun sake ---how about them Red Sox??

Snow, We know and the messenger is AOL! And yeah their style is cheap!
Penny Arévalo (Editor) April 6, 2014 at 01:00 pm
Well, thanks for the respect, Snow (I think). BTW, "fired" is not a appropriate word. TheyRead More were layoffs. And we're no longer owned by AOL. We do have great plans to change up how we cover our territory, but it won't involve losing millions of dollars a year. So we're in transition. I do thank all the readership for hanging with us. That's been very appreciated. Stay tuned! :-)

Not enough Gatorade and lack of cups at some hydration stations were due in part for all theRead More problems.

The marathon is a nice tradition. What s not so nice is the damn fool with the bull horn at theRead More finish line. He begins screaming at 8 am and continues until 3 pm. He wakes up everyone in the building with windows facing Ocean Avenue at the California Incline. Same damn thing every year. I wish he would wait until 9 or 10 am, when the runners actually cross the finish line. My kitties are disgusted. Me too.

What a generation. Rules are rules and if you can't play by those rules, go out and get an attorney.Read More This guys gonna be a boon for attorneys later on in life when he finds out there will be a lot that just won't go his way. What a joke!!!

An interesting question. Elroy "Crazy Legs" Hirsch ran behind my newly 2 wheel bike toRead More make sure I got a good running start for my first 2 wheel ride. Long history with the Rams. But since Georgia made sure Carrol disappeared under the waves (Just kidding folks :-) ) and ran off with the Italian Movie composer, the Rams have not been the same (See Lakers post Dr Buss). Obviously Georgia took the money and ran to Saint Louis. Now good God, the Waltons and Walmart own the Rams. Can't they move to Tennessee or West Virginia ? So L.A. gets Cleveland, L.A. and Saint Louis' leftovers. Just like with our population. Since the Raiders are playing on a sand lot now and barely filling it I expect them back. Poor Mr. Wilson at 95 is going so we may have the L.A. Bills too (Please don't kill Buffalo's heart) and that would go with our Buffalo Braves Basketball team (Clippers). San Diego may come up here too. At least they started here. I have a novel idea. How about we have a brand new team. Maybe the Coyotes or Fire Danger or Earthquake. OUR team. stay here. We can watch them lose for a while and become friends. Naaaahhhh never happen. Baaaahh Baaaaaahh here come the Lambs. At least Jeff Fisher is a local Taft high boy.
