The target: Reseda Boulevard. The mission: sweeping up trash and pulling weeds.
The band of local volunteers known as the Sparkle Campaign is once again looking for some extra help this weekend for tidying up a local intersection.
Meetup is Saturday at 9 a.m. at 8901 Reseda Blvd. The area of focus will be between Parthenia and Nordhoff, said Andrea Alvarado, one of the event organizers.
"We serve light breakfast and juice and will have water on hand," an event flyer read. "Bring gloves, hat and sun glasses. We provide the tools."
