The rolling display will feature six enormous floral timepieces.

Kidney and pancreas transplant recipient Ron Taubman, recently of Chatsworth, plus donor family members, and California Department of Motor Vehicles employees, have been decorating of the 2012 Donate Life Rose Parade float, “One More Day.”

It features six enormous floral timepieces, anchored by a 33-foot clock tower with a rotating sun/moon dial, reminding all to make each passing day count. The float will host 28 riders, representing the spectrum of organ donors and recipients, and will be adorned with 72 memorial floral portraits of deceased organ, eye and tissue donors whose gifts gave life.

The 123rd Pasadena Rose Parade, themed “Just Imagine…,” will begin 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2, featuring majestic floral floats, high-stepping equestrian units and spirited marching bands.
