Think 91311 Is Alive With the Sound of Music

COUNTDOWN: 2 days away from the moment a fabulous array of talented and accomplished singers and musicians will take to the stage during the celebration of Chatsworth.

Think 91311 celebrates all that is Chatsworth but it's also a dream come true for music lovers.

Among the highlights of Tuesday's event will be a cavalcade of talented performers in a variety of ear-pleasing genres. Some are emerging new talent; others are accomplished recording stars.

"The reaction has been good," Adam"Aejaye" Jackson told Chatsworth Patch. "We have local talent and some touring and recording artists who are going to be part of the event."

Even Jackson, a jazz and R&B performer, will take to the stage, along with his Fullspectrum Band. Other performers booked for the event:

  • Carmen Carter, a singer with multiple TV and movie credits
  • The Young Masters Band, representing the Young Masters Performing Arts Community, which will benefit from proceeds raised from the event
  • Kevin Toney, a keyboardist and jazz recording artist
  • Chyla Anderson, a songwriter and pop and acoustic guitarist
  • Wes Quave, the songwriter and singer of the new L.A. Anthem, which was incorporated into a recent Los Angeles Lakers commercial
  • Savannah Lynne, an up-and-coming singer and songwriter
  • Johnny Strat, a performer in the acoustic, alternative and rock genres

Jackson said the performers will alternate with speakers and dignitaries  at the salute to Chatsworth, which starts at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on the grounds of , 20121 Devonshire St.

He also thanked Michael Bell of Bell Event Services of Los Angeles, for providing the stage and sound system at a discounted rate.

Other highlights at Think 91311 include a children's area, a vendor's area, a Taste of Chatsworth, raffles, silent auctions, an aerial photograph and the burial of a time capsule.
