Good Taste--an Essential Ingredient of Think 91311

COUNTDOWN: 3 days until a 'Taste of Chatsworth,' an inexpensive way to sample some of the best menu items in the area.

Thanks to Think 91311, you won't have to visit Les Sisters restaurant to get some of their mouth-watering jambalaya and you won't have to travel to for taste-tempting pasta.

One highlight of Tuesday's celebration of Chatsworth is a Taste of Chatsworth area that will allow attendees to sample some of Chatsworth's best cuisine for a small fee.

Kevin Huling of Les Sisters, 21818 Devonshire St., told Chatsworth Patch that at least a half dozen eateries will be dishing up delectable items alongside the hot dogs and hamburgers grilled by the Chatsworth Kiwanis Club.

Huling said others participating in Taste of Chatsworth include Los Toros restaurant (Bull-Avila's chile verde), SanSai restaurant (salads), (muffins) and   (smoothies). Tickets for $1 each will entitle you to sample food from one restaurant. Plates for $3 allow you to sample all of the items.

Think 91311, a festival to showcase Chatsworth history, culture, tradition and commerce, starts at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, on thegroounds of , 20121 Devonshire St., and admittance is free of charge. In addition to the Taste of Chatsworth area, there will be musical entertainment, an aerial photograph, the burial of a time capsule, a children's section, a vendor area, a silent auction and raffles.
