'Evening in Kabul' Will Raise Money for Afghan Dental Clinic

Saturday fundraiser will be at the Chatsworth home of Dr. Barbara Pampalone, DDS.

Dr. James Rolfe double-mortgaged his home for the start-up money and built a state-of-the-art modern dental lab out of a cargo container complete with x-ray machine, running purified water in Afghanistan.

That he had challenges with the Afghan government and customs is an understatement.

The United Nations Association-USA SFV & The Rotary International Foundation are partnering to raise funds for Rolfe's Afghan Dental Relief Project that provides the first modern dental care in the history of Afghanistan.
