VSA Baseball Needs Help to Get to World Series

They practice at Chatsworth High School.

The weather is hot, and so is baseball. And the Triple Crown World Series awaits the boys of the Valley Sports Academy who practice at Chatsworth High School.

They raised enough money to get to the Omaha Triple Crown Slumpbuster Tournament in June where they came in second out of 52 teams. But now they have less than three weeks to find a sponsor to get them to the Series in Steamboat Springs, CO, on July 25-29.

The team includes: Andres Sandoval, Dan Ritcheson, Edrick Moreno, Gabriel Lucero, Gabriel Gonzalez, Jackson Meltzer, Jacob Cevene, Jacob Gordon, Jimmy Hernandez, Johnny Lopez, Justin Campos, Ryan Roche, Tommy Palomera, and Zachary Brown. They come from all over the Valley: Burbank, Pasadena, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, North Hollywood, San Fernando, Studio City, Valencia and Van Nuys.
