Kansas City Sticking with Chatsworth's Mike Moustakas in the Starting Lineup
Matt Dominguez is trying to make the Florida Marlins.
After getting a hit in his first Major League baseball game last month, Chatsworth alum Mike Moustakas is still trying to find himself as a recent call-up for the Kansas City Royals.
In 31 games, the 22-year-old former first-round draft choice is batting .190 with one home run and four RBIs in 116 at-bats. He’s 2 for his last 47, an .063 slump.
But he's seeing major-league pitching for only the first time, and he figures to get better; Kansas City is sticking with him in the starting lineup.
