As the 2012 Summer Olympic Games draw near, Rattler Swim Club invites families to get onto the deck at San Fernando Regional Pool to support local kids with their sights set on London, Rio de Janeiro and beyond. The non-profit organization’s annual Swim-A-Thon fundraiser will take place on Monday, June 4, from 4:30 – 6:30 PM.
100+ members of the Rattler Swim Club, including several U.S. Olympic Team Trials qualifiers, will swim 200 laps in two hours in the 2012 Swim-A-Thon. Swimmers secure pledges/donations and the proceeds help fund Rattler Swim Club’s operations – including its ambitious financial aid and Olympic Team Trials coaching programs. Rattler Swim Club is one of many USA Swimming-sanctioned clubs across the nation participating in the annual Swim-A-Thon.
Donors can contribute to the Rattler Swim-A-Thon at www.rattlerswimming.org.
