California State Parks Volunteer Training for Santa Susana Pass SHP Volunteers

Do you love to hike?  Do you love being in the outdoors?  Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park in Chatsworth needs volunteers to help monitor the park, eradicate graffiti, and assist with nature hikes.  Join the dozens of other Santa Susana volunteers to help promote the park and keep it safe and clean for the community.  By becoming a State Parks volunteer, you can earn passes for free entrance into other State Parks, make new friends, enjoy the outdoors, learn about the park’s unique history, flora, and fauna, and give back to the community.

These trainings are only offered a few times a year, so if you are interested in volunteering, this would be the perfect opportunity to meet park staff and find out more.  For more information about volunteering or to join the park’s event mailing list, please contact Jennifer at 818.784.4849 or SantaSusanaPassSHP@gmail.com.

Please note:  Bring a jacket or sweater as the training will be taking place in an adobe building which can be chilly--even if it is warm outside.
