Sierra Canyon Girls Basketball Advances in State Playoffs
Trailblazers defeat Pioneers, 78-30.
The Sierra Canyon girls basketball team moved closer to the Div. V state championship with a 78-30 victory Saturday over Providence in the second round of the state playoffs at Chatsworth High School.
"We rely on our man-to-man pressure in the full court and the half court which helped us build our lead," Sierra Canyon coach Alicia Komaki told the Daily News. "We were able to take advantage of mismatches down low with our size and athleticism."
