Sierra Canyon Beats Saugus for Pacifica Tournament Title

The Trainblazers came from behind to defeat the Centurions 48-45.

The boys from Chatworth's Sierra Canyon High School defeated Saugus High to win the Pacifica basketball tournament in Oxnard Saturday.

Derryck Thornton, Brandon White freshman Devearl Ramsey were top scorers for the Trailblazers in the 48-45 victory.

White was also named tournament MVP and Thorton made the all-tournament team in the pool-play competition.
