With her racy MTV Video Music Awards performance last month, Miley Cyrus reaffirmed her push away her clean-teen image.
While some might argue her on-stage antics might be setting a bad example for youngsters who once adored her in Disney Channel's Hannah Montana, a group of Northridge Academy High School seniors seized the opportunity for a yearbook prank.
On picture day, several seniors showed up with Miley's unmistakable two-bun hairstyle and some other of her familiar antics.
An employee at the school, Fraser Graham, recalled in an email about the humorous experience.
"I noticed one of our varsity volleyball players and a couple other seniors, whom I know from yearbook, had their hair done up in two buns. I was curious and not having watched any television on Sunday night, oblivious to the Miley 'twerk' controversy. One of the girls was winking and sticking her tongue out at her hand held mirror as her friends giggled on. As they waited their turns in a long line for one of the three photographers, I noticed another senior, whom I have known since kindergarten as a friend of my youngest daughter, was applying eyeliner to a tooth on her left side of her mouth instead of her eyes. It was then I knew they were up to something. The poor photographers were having a heck of a time asking the the girls to "please open your eye and smile." It was pretty funny watching them all the other day!"
