Porter Ranch Music Educator Tells of On-the-go Teaching in LAUSD

While most Angelenos have to commute to a single office building for the jobs, Porter Ranch's Linda Mouradian has four different workplaces she visits throughout the week.

As reported on South California Public Radio, Mouradian is one of 216 traveling arts teachers employed by the Los Angeles Unified School District to culturally enrich more than 270,000 elementary school students.

"We are not where we envision ourselves to be, but we are definitely on the path," she told the radio network. "That's really encouraging to me. That's why I never lose hope."

Mouradian has been at it since she began her career in the 1970s.
