Local Students Celebrate Chatsworth's 125th Birthday

Teachers, pupils and parents join in singing "Happy Birthday."

The students, teachers and parents attending the Chatsworth Park Elementary School general assembly Monday morning sang Happy Birthday to Chatsworth, representing 125 years from March 10, 1888 to present.

Following the assembly, parents and guests enjoyed a presentation on the history of Chatsworth Park Elementary School which started out as Santa Susana School in a building on the same location in 1880.  The name changed to Chatsworth Park School in 1902.

The program was presented by the Chatsworth Historical Society.
