Irregularities Force Students to Take AP Exam Again

All Advanced Placement exams at Chatsworth High postponed to maintain the integrity of test scores.

An "irregular pattern" was detected in this year's Advanced Placement psychology exam results at Chatsworth High School. Students will have to retake the exam this week, officials told the Daily News.

The school also postponed all the other Advanced Placement exams to maintain the integrity of test scores, according to officials. The exams are used to grant college credit for courses students take in high school.

Students are fuming. One rant on the student tumblr page complains:

"AP students of Chatsworth have suffered through at least 5 AP tests (Biology, Government, Literature, Language, and Psychology) being postponed and RETAKEN. there are currently no answers whatsoever about what the [expletive deleted] is going on. to make it worse, seniors graduate on may 29. so if they take lit&psych, they have to come back after graduation to take psych b/c the scheduled tests for lit&psych are on the same day."

Los Angeles Unified officials said Chatsworth High was the only district school to report testing problems, according to the Daily News.
