Granada Hills Highlander Football Team Celebrates 25-Year-Old Victory
1987 Highlanders defeated Carson, the No. 2 team in the nation, to capture the 4-A title.
It has been 25 years since the Granada Hills Highlander football team defeated Carson, the No. 2 team in the nation to capture the 4-A title.
Friday, alums celebrated this achievement with Coach Stroh and Coach Harp at the football game against Chatsworth with a halftime ceremony. Team members gathered at the “Mean Green Zone” to catch up with more than 200 alumni, faculty, staff and friends to commerate this historic title.
