Think 91311

The Chatsworth Community, in an effort to foster increased local involvement, engagement and pride, will be hosting an event on September 13, 2011.  This event, taking place at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church, located at 20121 Devonshire Street, will celebrate the community’s residents, history and culture through a multitude of events taking place between 4:30 and 8:30 pm.  The 13th of September is the only day in 100 years where the calendar date will coincide with the neighborhood’s Zip Code, 91311.

The festivities will promote local businesses and area restaurateurs through a “Taste of Chatsworth,” in which attendees may sample the vast array of cuisines and dining establishments available in the area.  There will be an aerial Community photo taken that evening, along with fun for all age groups, including live music, raffles, as well as a 50 year time capsule that will be sealed on that date.

This is a not-for-profit event and all proceeds will be granted to Young Masters Performing Arts Academy, offering musical instruments and educational instruction to Chatsworth Community students, who otherwise would not have the access or resources to music or arts related educational enrichment.  We hope the entire Chatsworth Community and our local neighbors will come out to celebrate with us!  It will be a fabulous event and a unique, fun opportunity to residents to get to meet each other and learn all that Chatsworth has to offer!
