Santa Susana Mountain Park Association Community Meeting:  Presenter, Dave Beauvais, The Oakridge Estates, will discuss the English Tudor-style house, designed in 1937 by architect, Paul R. Williams, for actress Barbara Stanwyck, which later became the home of actor, Jack Oakie and wife, Victoria Horne, circa 1940.

The Oakridge Estates were almost lost to development when former councilman, Greig Smith, launched a campaign to save as a SFV historical-cultural monument (#484).

Beauvais will make a PowerPoint presentation of the Oakie House and grounds' history, community recreational site, and upcoming events at the estate.
