Howard Berman called the meeting Monday so Valley residents could vent their frustration with low-flying helicopters over their homes.
The complaints are so widespread that even Berman's U.S. Congressional opponent, Brad Sherman, showed up at the packed auditorium in Sherman Oaks to voice his agreement, according to KCAL9.
Representatives of the Federal Aviation Agency were there to hear tales of rattling windows and shaking houses as the choppers fly overhead. Even County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky was there to play to tape recording of a chopper drowning out a classical music performance at the Hollywood Bowl.
