Dubbed the "Thrilla in Tarzana," California Congressmen and Democrats Howard Berman and Brad Sherman will face-off with Republican challenger Mark Reed, in another debate, in their run for California's 30th Congressional District.

The Jewish Journal is presenting the debate, and Temple Judea, at 5429 Lindley Ave., Tarzana is hosting the event.

Howard Lawrence Berman (born April 15, 1941) is the U.S. Representative for California's 28th congressional district, serving since 1983. The district, numbered as the 26th District from 1983 to 2003, includes about half of the San Fernando Valley

Bradley James "Brad" Sherman (born October 24, 1954) is an American politician. He has been a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives since 1997, representing California's 27th congressional district. Sherman represents California’s San Fernando Valley, and currently resides in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Mark Reed is a 2012 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 30th Congressional District of California, challenging incumbent Congressman Brad Sherman and Congressman Howard Berman in the 30th Congressional District of California. Mark ran against Congressman Brad Sherman in 27th District in 2010. Mark had the second smallest margin in the State of Calif. challenging an incumbent Democrat.
