Plan Your Cycling With the County's Online Bikeways Map

The Department of Public Works maintains both on-road and off-road bike lanes.

With new bike lanes crisscrossing the region, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works has posted a comprehensive interactive bikeways map on the Internet.

The county's Bikeways Unit maintains approximately 100 miles of paved off-road bike paths, both along the beach and rivers, such as the Los Angeles River and San Gabriel River Bike Trails. They also maintain on-road bikeways throughout the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.

The map shows whether a particular bikeway falls under county or city jurisdiction as well as routes that may be closed or are scheduled to be closed. There are also links to the LADOT Bike Map and the Metro Bike Map.
