'Pastor George' to Be Seated By the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council

Pastor George Nelson is expected to be appointed this evening to fill a vacant seat.

Pastor George Nelson is expected to be appointed this evening to fill a vacant seat on the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council.

Nelson, of Chatsworth's Vision Plus Church, was the only candidate to file for what was to be a Special Election. The Council's bylaws permit the board to simply ratify the seating of a candidate when there is no competition.

"Pastor George," as he is known, has been a stakeholder volunteer on Neighborhood Council committees for several years, and will introduce himself and answer stakeholder questions before the ratification.
