Northridge West Council to Hear About Real Estate Fraud

David Lopez, deputy district attorney of the Real Estate Fraud Unit, will speak.

David Lopez, deputy district attorney of the Real Estate Fraud Unit will be speaking this evening at the monthly meeting of the Northridge West Neighborhood Council. The public is invited.

The 7 p.m. meeting will be in the auditorium of Beckford Avenue Elementary School, 19130 Tulsa St. in Northridge.

Lopez was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley where he attended Sylmar High School. A graduate of USC, he has been with the District Attorney's office since 1988. He currently serves as the deputy in charge of the real estate fraud unit within the office's Major Frauds section.

The Northridge West Neighborhood Council elections will be the week of Sept. 3. There are nine board positions open including: two At-Large seats, one Open At-Large seat, one Renter seat, one General Business seat, two Senior seats and one Homeowner seat.
