More Radiation Found at Santa Susana Field Lab

The site once held 10 small nuclear reactors. One experienced a partial meltdown in 1959.

Everyone suspected it, but after nearly three years, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency confirmed that on part of the Santa Susana Field Laboratory land, radiological contamination exceeds established limits.

So, now what happens in terms of cleanup of the 470-acre former rocket engine and nuclear test site in the hills west of Chatsworth?
