Judge Reviews Porn Industry's Challenge in Condom Law Battle

The adult film has filed a motion to remove the AIDS Healthcare Foundation from a legal battle against a law passed by voters last year requiring male porn stars to wear condoms, CBS2 reports.

U.S. District Court Judge Dean Pregerson is reviewing the matter. Since the county measure was approved, the number of permits for adult movie shoots in the Southland has dwindled.

The industry is relying on a ruling on the now voided Prop. 8, a ballot measure that banned same sex marriages in California, that prevented proponents of the bill from having any legal standing when it came to lower court appeals.
