Here's How You Can Fix L.A.'s Budget

Follow the link and take the online survey to express how you feel about proposed increases in fees, fines, and taxes to balance the city’s projected $213 million budget deficit.

The annual Mayor’s Budget Survey has been released online.

Follow this link to take the survey: http://la.budgetchallenge.org/ pages/overview

This is your opportunity to let City Hall know what services and programs are important to you and how you feel about proposed increases in fees, fines, and taxes to balance the City’s projected $213 million budget deficit.

The online version is interactive, so you will see in real time how your choices help close the budget gap, or not. Every year many thousands of Angelenos take the Budget Survey -- will you be one of the Chatsworth, Northridge or Porter Ranch voices?

After entering your ZIP Code, please scroll down to select “Chatsworth Neighborhood Council,” “Porter Ranch Neighborhood Council,” or the appropriate “Northridge Neighborhood Council,” as well as selecting your stakeholder category before going on to the next page. Please take 10 minutes during the next few days to be a participant in this important process. For more information and budget related links, visit the Mayor’s Budget webpage.
