Heavily Traveled Portion of Wilbur Avenue to Be Repaved in Porter Ranch

The street is called one of the most degraded roads in Council District 12.

A heavily traveled section of Wilbur Avenue between Tampa Avenue and Rinaldi Street in Porter Ranch is being repaved.

Bike lanes are also expected to be added.

Patch took a drive along the 1.2-mile stretch of rutted, cracked and potholed road and noted that all the side-streets had already been resurfaced. Councilman Mitch Englander's office has called the street one of the most degraded and most heavily trafficked roads in Council District 12.

The Bureau of Street Services will be using Proposition 1B funding to get repairs and repaving done.
