Headington and Wilk to Face-Off at Breakfast Forum

They are candidates for the 38th Assembly District seat.

The Chatsworth/Porter Ranch Chamber of Commerce and the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council will co-host a 38th Assembly District candidate breakfast forum Thursday, featuring Edward Headington and Scott Wilk at the Porter Valley Country Club, 19216 Singing Hills Drive, Northridge.

State Assembly District 38 includes Aqua Dulce, Canyon Country, Castaic, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, Newhall, Porter Ranch, Santa Clarita, Santa Susana, Saugus, Simi Valley, Stevenson Ranch, Valencia and Val Verde.

The winner of the Headington-Wilk race in November will replace Assemblyman Cameron Smyth, who is leaving office due to term limits.

The breakfast buffet will be 7 to 9 a.m., costing $18 with pre-registration and $22 at the door. Click here to reserve a seat.
