Gym, Kaiser Permanente Seek Committee Support to Open in Chatsworth

Two items on an upcoming committee agenda for the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council entail businesses that want to open establishments within community borders.

Two businesses looking to set up shop in Chatsworth will go before the local neighborhood council's land use committee Thursday to seek support, according to a meeting agenda.

A boutique health gym will present its plans to overtake a nearly decade-long vacant building last occupied by a pharmacy inside the Ralph's shopping center at Devonshire Street and Canoga Avenue.

Also, Kaiser Permanente looks to open medical offices at Mason Avenue and Lassen Street.

If the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council supports these new ventures, the city would still have to sign off on them.

The land use committee will meet on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Chatsworth Train Depot, 10038 Old Depot Plaza Rd.
