Englander Giving Away Reusable Bags

The bags are free and will be available at the Community Service Center in Chatsworth.

Councilmember Mitchell Englander, along with the Los Angeles Department of Sanitation, is giving away free, reusable bags at the Council District 12 Community Service Center, located at 9207 Oakdale Drive.

"Single-use carryout plastic bags are no longer be available at large supermarkets and pharmacies. Paper bags are available for 10 cents each. To avoid this fee, shoppers are encouraged to bring and use their reusable bags when making trips to the grocery store," according to the Northridge West Neighborhood Council.
