Did You Know There Is a Stealth Election on Feb. 15?

Vote to fill the seat vacated by Sen. George Runner.

You knew that there's a City Council election coming up.  And you heard that the governor wants to call a special election to extend expiring taxes to help balance the budget.

But did you know there is an almost secret primary election in much of Chatsworth in about two weeks?  True. The election is Tuesday, Feb. 15.

Republican Sharon Runner, who wants to succeed her huband, is facing Democrat Darren W. Parker to fill the state's 17th District seat recently vacated by Sen. George Runner. They met in Santa Clarita Wednesday to debate. Click here to see a report in The Signal newspaper.
