New Transit Station Gets CSUN Moving

$400,000 in federal funds used to finance construction.

Cal State Northridge President Dianne F. Harrison, Councilman Mitch Englander, Congressman Brad Sherman (D-Sherman Oaks), and other university officials joined to celebrate the addition of a new transit station to the Northridge campus this week.

Nearly $400,000 in federal funds was used to finance the construction of the CSUN Transit Station at Vincennes Street and West University Drive.

The new facility will serve university students, staff, faculty and the community.  Currently, four bus lines run out of the station: Metro Rapid Line 741 (Reseda Boulevard), Metro Local Line 167 (Plummer Street), Antelope Valley Transit Authority’s (AVTA) 787 Express and the CSUN Metrolink Shuttle.
