The office of Los Angeles Councilmember Mitchell Englander, whose district includes Northridge and Chatsworth, announced Friday that Englander has been appointed to the National League of Cities (NLC) 2014 Public Safety and Crime Prevention Steering Committee.

According to the Councilmember's office, the committee is responsible for developing NLC federal policy positions on issues involving crime prevention, corrections, substance abuse, municipal fire policy, juvenile justice, disaster preparedness and relief, homeland security, domestic terrorism, court systems and gun control.

"The National League of Cities (NLC) is dedicated to helping city leaders build better communities. NLC is a resource and advocate for 19,000 cities, towns and villages, representing more than 218 million Americans," states the office.

I have a problem with a noisy Catholic church. I know Englander had similar problem. What did he do about it? How did he handle it? Anyone know?
