Chatsworth Council Meets Wednesday Evening

The April 22 Day of the Horse festival is on the agenda.

When the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council meets this evening, the board will discuss several expenditures.

Among the agenda items is a request from Fire Station 107 for an air conditioner, support for the Valley Festival at Northridge Park, removal of two large dead trees, Internet advertising, and financing of the annual Council-sponsored Day of the Horse festival.

The Council's monthly meeting begins 7 p.m. at , 10100 Variel Ave. The Neighborhood Council is the community's voice in City Hall.  The Council is elected in a public vote by area stakeholders and advises Councilman Mitch Englander on land use and other issues.
