Neighborhood Council Meets This Evening

Agenda lists several funding motions.

The Chatsworth Neighborhood Council meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday at , 10100 Variel Ave.

Most of the agenda items for the monthly board meeting involve consideration of expenditures, such as:

  • Purchasing online advertising for outreach,
  • Joining in co-sponsorship of the Valley Alliance of Neighborhood Council's annual gathering,
  • Providing two flat-screen monitors for the special eduation department at Chatsworth High School, and
  • Combining all remaining Council money into one fund.

There will also be a motion to approve a zone variance for expansion and continued use for Fusion Motorsports on Nordhoff Street, and expansion of Mason Honshu Sushi Restaurant in the Vons shopping center. The Council will be asked to disapprove a request by AT&T for the replacement of a 40-foot monopole cell tower with a 45-foot mono-palm, mono-elm or slim-line pole 3-feet in diameter.
