2 Forums: City Council and School Board

Candidates will speak at simultaneous meetings.

Two separate, simultaneous candidate forms will be held beginning at 7 p.m., Thursday. The election is March 8.

The final faceoff for City Council District 12 contenders will be held at Granada Hills Charter High School, 10535 Zelzah Ave in Granada Hills.

It is sponsored by the Old Granada Hills Residents' Group and Granada Hills South Neighborhood Council. All six candidates are scheduled to attend.

At the same time, incumbent Tamar Galatzan and challenger Louis Pugliese are scheduled to speak at the Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies, 18605 Erwin St. in Tarzana. They are each seeking the LAUSD District 3 school board seat.

The event is sponsored by the 31st District PTSA and the League of Women Voters of Los Angeles.
