She is suspected of assault with a deadly weapon, but no further information was immediately available.

A woman suspected of assault with a deadly weapon was arrested on the 118 Freeway in Porter Ranch on Tuesday, CBS2 reports.

California Highway Officers spotted her driving erratically in Simi Valley, but she failed to pull over, according to CBS2.

She reportedly had a black dog riding alongside her and stopped at Burbank Boulevard and White Oak Avenue to let out a male passenger and sped off once again, police said.

Around 3:45 p.m., she pulled over on the 118 Freeway in Porter Ranch and threw her keys onto the highway. She was then taken into custody, CBS2 reports.

There is no additional information at this time.
