Woman Assaulted at Dublin's in Northridge Sues Bar

Cristal Salazar complains she was served alcohol while already drunk. She says she was attacked --twice -- after the bouncer threw her out.

A woman is suing a Northridge bar, alleging she was provided alcohol while already intoxicated and then was assaulted twice.

Cristal Salazar filed the lawsuit Thursday against Dublin's Irish Bar and Grill at 9250 Reseda Blvd. She is seeking unspecified damages.

A man who answered the phone at Dublin's said he had not seen the lawsuit and had no immediate comment.

According to the complaint, Salazar was served alcohol during a visit last July 19 to Dublin's even though she was already drunk.

"Plaintiff ... was carried by one of the bouncers ... and taken directly outside the business where (she) was assaulted by a group of nine men," the suit states. "Then (Salazar) was carried by a bouncer toward the Reseda Boulevard sidewalk, where (she) was kidnapped and driven to Pacoima, where she was assaulted again."

The bar management breached its duty of care to Salazar, the suit alleges.
