VIDEO: Teen Slain by Cops Wanted to Be a Cop

19-year-old chased by police from Northridge to Woodland Hills.

Abdul Arian, the 19-year-old chased by police from Northridge to Woodland Hills Wednesday where he was shot and killed, wanted to be a marine and a police officer.

In this KCAL9 report he talks about turning his life around on a home video made by his former boxing coach.

On the video he says, “I’m improving myself here and improving myself in school and following that I’m probably going to make it into the Marines and following there make it into becoming a police officer.”

He participated in the boxing program for about nine months before dropping out of  Taft High School, his coach said.

On the home video, Arian also talks about the time he had a scrape with the law. And how he left the LAPD Cadets Explorer program.

I have no sympathy for him. Thank Goodness others weren't hurt or killed as an indirect consequence of his actions.

In an interview his uncle said she was a good kid and didn't do anything wrong. This sheds more light on the situation.
