ire crews made quick work today of a blaze in a vacant home in Northridge today, and nobody was injured.

The fire was reported at 4:14 p.m. in the 8000 block of North Zelzah Avenue, according to Cody Weireter of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

It took 41 firefighters 15 minutes to knock down the blaze, he said.

The cause of the fire and a damage estimate were not immediately available.
