Two Killed in Apparent Murder-Suicide in Canoga Park

Friday's deaths occur in a home on the 7100 block of Farralone Avenue.

Two people believed to be victims of a murder-suicide were found dead in a Canoga Park home, police said today.

The pair were found about 3:15 p.m. Friday in a home in the 7100 block
of Farralone Avenue, said Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police
Department.

"When officers arrived and entered the residence they found two victims
with gunshot wounds,'' Herrera said in a statement.

Both victims died at the scene from their injuries.

Preliminary reports indicate the two were dating, Herrera said. The
killings appear to be a murder-suicide, she said.

The names of the victims were withheld pending notification of kin,
Herrera said.
