Suspects in Northridge Murders to Appear in Court Wednesday

The two suspects have not been charged in the case.

Two of the suspects in the Northridge murders case have been returned to Los Angeles from Clark County, Nev., Jail. Although no charges have been filed in the Northridge case, both suspects have other cases and are scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday (Dec. 19) in Los Angeles, Van Nuys and San Fernando.

Ka Pasasouk, 31, is scheduled to appear in Central Arraignment Court Department 83, 429 Bauchet St., Los Angeles, on the 8:30 a.m. calendar for a hearing on 2PR05067, a parole violation. He then will be sent to Department 122 in Van Nuys, 14400 Erwin St. Mall, for a probation violation hearing on his Proposition 36 drug case (LA071942). That is expected to be heard in the afternoon, although it is possible that it might be heard earlier if the defendant arrives earlier.

Howard Ledesma Alcantara, 30, is scheduled to appear in San Fernando Superior Court Department S, 900 Third St., for arraignment on a robbery case (PA075349) that was filed on Dec. 6 and amended today to include an assault with a deadly weapon count. That hearing is expected in the afternoon (after 1:30 p.m.), but could be held earlier depending on the availability of the defendant, prosecution and defense. Deputy District Attorneys Dan Akemon and Beth Silverman will handle the court appearance; Akemon in Los Angeles and San Fernando and Silverman in Van Nuys.

A remaining suspect remains in Las Vegas.
