Second Suspect in Alleged CSUN Break-in Faces Charges

A second person has been charged in connection with a CSUN break-in reported in early October, according to the university.

Travon Williams Jr., 21 and a student at the school, was arrested after it was learned he was allegedly one of four men that burst into a unit in Building 11 at CSUN's University Park apartment complex just after midnight on Oct. 4.

"Campus police detectives on Nov. 7 presented the case against Williams to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, which filed one count of criminal threats and one count of trespassing," a statement from the college read.

The four men were allegedly looking for someone they earlier had an altercation with and made threats to a resident when they were asked to leave, according to the release.

Spencer Shipp, 20, was the first suspect arrested in the matter and was taken into custody on Oct. 10.
