Police Pursuit Ends With Crash in Porter Ranch

The chase began at Chatsworth Street and Hayvenhurst Avenue and ended at Rinaldi Street, west of Corbin Avenue.

A  pursuit from Granada Hills to the Porter Ranch area ended Wednesday with a driver crashing a gray Toyota MRS2 into a curb.

According to KCAL9, the pursuit began after police saw a man who was driving recklessly. The chase began at Chatsworth Street and Hayvenhurst Avenue and ended at Rinaldi Street, west of Corbin Avenue.

The driver hit the curb really hard, according to Richard French of the Los Angeles Police Department. The driver was taken into custody.

The pursuit lasted less than 10 minutes.
