Northridge Resident Seriously Injured After Being Struck on 405 Freeway
Paramedics rush the man to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills.
A 32-year-old man suffered serious injuries Saturday when he got out his spun-out car and was struck by traffic on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Van Nuys, the California Highway Patrol said.
The man was struck about 1:45 a.m. on the northbound freeway approaching Roscoe Boulevard, according to a department statement.
Northridge resident Shaun Wicks was going northbound at an unknown speed in a 2010 Mazda when he lost control of the vehicle, spun around and hit the center divider wall coming to rest facing south in the number one lane, according to the statement.

Wicks got out the vehicle began to walk towards the center divider wall, but was struck by several vehicles.
Paramedics rushed him to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills.
